"What's really fun about these figure painting and still life studies is that I’m doing them in a group. It's all of my favorite friends and my favorite artists from my daytime job, and we’re painting together after work. Instead of going out to a bar and getting a drink, we’re painting and getting a drink. And we’re doing it together, we’re studying and noticing the same things."
