"I started spending the last several Christmases in the desert. I used to have a really negative association with Christmas and the holidays because of how violent and emotionally charged they were. And so 2020 was a fresh reset for me of saying, I really deserve to have my own traditions around holidays and decide what they mean for me.  There's something to be said about the connection I felt in the desert to the sky and to the nature there." -AM
